Visited the bottom of Leith Walk yesterday and noticed that the former swimming pool is now a soft play place. I had visions of them emptying the pool and just turning it into a giant ball pit. Having to send in staff with ropes when wee Billy disappears up the deep end.

The build process in alt-text. It was always intended to be crewed by Grots, but Orks wouldn't let them keep anything big like this if it worked. So I had propulsion provided by big beasties. These were courtesy of prints from Station Forge. Paint scheme inspired by Scotland's other national drink

It all started with a stupid idea I had when I came across a wrecked Rhino in a box. Resurrecting it would be nigh impossible & fairly pointless as I had new ones in boxes if I needed one. So I had a look around and found some wheels & gubbins from an Ork kit I'd bought for parts on eBay.

Wheels and axles fitted to the Rhino chassis, I started looking for some Orky bits to dress it up a little.

I got this far, note the original wooden 'cockpit' area, and decided that I didn't like it so it got shoved in a box for "later".

This month's challenge stirred my last remaining brain cell and I dug it out to see what needed done to finish it up. The cockpit area had been broken, so it got replaced with a Sentinel body, and I had a printed Arvus Lighter cockpit in my bits box, so that got bunged on top. Now it needed paint, a crew, and most importantly, a means of propulsion.

Reminds me of The Mari Lwyd from Wales.

The Mari Lwyd is a wassailing folk custom in South Wales. The tradition entails the use of a hobby horse made from a horse's skull mounted on a pole and carried by an individual hidden under a sheet.

My latest Stupid Idea: When you think Emperor's Children everyone seem to think 'sex', but gluttony is also a form of excess and is usually less fastidious. I combined Ogor, Lord Exultant & Ogryn parts, some had to be printed to fit the differing scales. #Nerdlings #warhammercommunity

Like you I had an urge to build and paint some Celestial Lions. Big guy is their Chapter Master defeating yet another assassination attempt, the others are his bodyguard element. I leant into an African heritage with the conversions. #Nerdlings #FindFolkFriday

This used to sit at eye level for the passenger in my sidecar when I rode a motorcycle combination. It now sits in the console of my car also, coincidentally, in the eye line of the front passenger.
