I'm sorry but whose idea was it to present Mickey Mouse, the beloved and safe family mascot, like THIS and have it TRY TO SEXUALLY ASSAULT MINNIE? My mum had to take me out of the cinema. It's my very earliest memory of having a full-blown meltdown/panic attack. I thought I was going to throw up.

In today's episode of Tales from the Library Dimension: Things we discovered while pulling apart the public computers.

A six-piece, un-PAT-tested extension cord chain.
Non-terminated earth wires hanging where they would connect directly with people's knees.
1 spider's nest.
Split kettle plugs last PAT tested in 2005.
A power cable for a printer that was binned in the 90s, still plugged in, frayed.
Several document holders containing documents from an alternate universe where all of the council branding is different.
2 looped network cables (i.e. both ends plugged in to separate network connection points)

Ticketmaster are charging £241 for accessible tickets for Trivium in Glasgow, but non-accessible ones are £90. Apparently all accessible tickets are for a meet-and-greet but that's surely illegal? I've been seeing this more and more lately with disabled people having to pay more for the same show.

I only go on Facebook for very specific groups these days but I've reported at least five of this style of ad today for being a scam and including false information. I don't need the sound on to know that this is AI generated scam slop and it's everywhere.

A Telegram message: "So I saw a throwaway comment in this book about a Zippo lighter with "patent pending" on it in this old man's apartment and I thought hey, here's a rabbit hole that probably hasn't been discovered in House of Leaves but no, there are pages and pages on the forums about how this is part of the proof that the dude was a soldier because those exact Zippos were given to soldiers in 1933 and he's a non-smoker.
