Cautiously optimistic by Kirby Dach's first game of the season vs Toronto. While I won't go as far as claiming victory like his 10-members fan club, he was okay. But is okay enough at this stage in his career? No. He needs to build on it and be more consistent. #GoHabsGo #Habs

A reminder… A year ago, the #Leafs beat the #Habs 5-2 for their season opener. At the end of the season, the #GoHabsGo finished with 106 pts, making it to the final four in the Stanley Cup playoffs. The #GoLeafsGo finished 15th in the East with 78 pts.

I feel for Owen Beck. Many fans expect spectacular in order to be impressed but that's not who he is. I feel like his game is better suited for the NHL than the AHL. He needs a legitimate opportunity. With the #Habs or elsewhere. Same goes for Engström and Reinbacher. #GoHabsGo

As a forward, I always preferred goalies with dark coloured pads. It’s easier, in a slip second, to find places to shoot. If I were a NHL goalie, my pads and gloves would be predominantly light in colour. #GoHabsGo #Habs

15 forwards (Demidov missing), 8 defensemen and 3 goaltenders for a total of 28 players. Team rosters must be at 23 (or less) by opening night. Beck, F. Xhekaj, Reinbacher, Engström and Fowler are the Rockets still in Group A. All of them are NHL-ready or near. #GoHabsGo #Habs
