Followed by @lisaknappmusic.bsky.social and @gerrydriver.bsky.social cramming as many songs as they can into the next hour. Most of #Hinterland was squeezed in. There's just something about a live performance that takes the music to a higher level of engagement.

Lisa Knapp at the microphone and Gerry Driver on banjo in a crowded hall at Cecil Sharp House.

Aurora visible to the naked eye near Cambridge, as a pale red / purple glow across the northern horizon. An 8 second camera exposure reveals more detail of the structure. First time I've seen this, an amazing sight.

A view of the northern sky looking across the silhouette of trees and rooftops. Green aurora glows across the horizon, with vertical rays visible just above the trees.

At the centre of the image Jupiter shines bright in the eastern sky. To the left a red ribbon of aurora rises vertically from the horizon to the top of the image. A faint green glow is visible across the horizon. The image is framed to the right by the dark silhouette of the house.
