A chibi of caldarus in human form, looking up at a marigold while smiling.

if i listed them properly, knuckles would be next to rouge & omega and tails would be somewhere in top tiers

honestly not super accurate placements because knuckles and tails are definitely listed under a few characters i don't actually prefer over them. i just wanted a special spot for them LOL

i've always been terrible at picking one favourite or properly ranking. i am too full of love. anyways here's an updated sonic "faves" tierlist

rather than retail. and that makes me really sad. i grew up with this game and this universe and have so many toons i love that i've played with for years. since i was a child🥲it means a lot to me. seeing the state it's in...

it's as vindicating as it is sad to see how so many people from all different perspectives just absolutely hate the way the narrative team has been telling its story this expansion. it's so bad this is the 2nd time i've ever cancelled my sub. if i resub, it'll be for forever

tbh i am still lowkey obsessed with Lauma… so i finally finished some wips from early Nod Krai 💗 (Lauma/Jahoda, Lauma/Nefer)

Lauma gently embraces Jahoda. Due to their height difference, that means Jahoda’s face is pressed into Lauma’s ample bosom. The girl’s face goes red and her eyes unfocused as she internally freaks out, meanwhile Lauma lovingly pets her head

Lauma gives Nefer a kiss on the cheek as thanks for helping her out with something. In doing so she also presses her chest into Nefer’s arm as she leans in. Nefer isnt sure if shes more embarrassed being thanked… or more embarrassed over the proximity of Lauma’s voluptuous (and barely covered) body RIGHT THERE…

if shadow woke up only a few years earlier he would've dealt with a much smaller & rounder sonic which would be so funny. begging sega every day to let shadow & classic sonic duo in something. even despite their annoying insistence to make lil sonic mute it'd be so funny

I had to say goodbye to my second home, my manga-coffee shop. It’s been 2,5 years since I opened the place, it gave me joy but also took a lot more from me in return. I’ve been job hunting for months with no results and still am unemployed. You can support me in a few ways: 1. You can buy merch🤲✨

most of the comics i've enjoyed moments of pretty much, and mainly read for the comic og characters rather than the game og characters. this arc was so close to being the first one with game characters in the lead that i really love... and they flubbed it. 3 issue arcs is a curse

000 0

scary and full of candy grug yaoi @gruglantis.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

i've never had a single arc in the comics that focuses on the game characters that i've really loved, impostor syndrome was my fave, and this one was closest to it, and then turned out to be false advertising. which is why i'm especially frustrated.

100 1

scary and full of candy grug yaoi @gruglantis.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

but the issue with him is not exclusive to it, it's an english sonic issue that has been going on for like a decade now making him a marvel personality-humour-esque chatterbox lol and it makes him so lame and is horribly inaccurate to his actual personality that existed before

100 1

scary and full of candy grug yaoi @gruglantis.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

to add onto this, i know there's been several arcs that follow primarily the game characters, but my main issue is they still just fall flat in some way for me. typically something with characterization sours my mood, especially for sonic himself. because he is so ass in ideedw

the new characters IDW brings in are great. i like them. but i don't like how we get led on to think a story will be about the game characters and they're just supporting characters in the end over and over again. it's rude to your audience and false advertising.

100 1

scary and full of candy grug yaoi @gruglantis.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

all they had to do was advertise it as "silver & blaze (but mostly silver let's be real...) support new character dapple" and i would know to not get my hopes up. i suppose it's my fault for getting my hopes up when it comes to IDW and the game cast, though. never again, i hope.
