Holiday Memories #32 The lucky butt statue in Cyprus. It’s actually a tribute to the goddess Aphrodite, but peeps just be rubbing her butt for luck.

A bronze statue of a woman is draped over the rocks near the sea. Oxidisation has caused her to take on the classic blue/green, but she’s gold where people touch her.

I have lost many people on SM over the years. Even had a message chat with one during his final days. His name was Paco and he’s remembered very fondly. We were talking about turning your face to the sun, then he was gone.
