Today is Global Tiger Day 🐯, raising awareness of the plight of wild tigers around the world. There are an estimated 5,000 tigers in the wild; that's less than half the attendance of MFF. If you want to continue to see tigers in wild places like this one, do your part to support tiger conservation.

I’ve been blown away by the love and attention on my last pic. I’ll have to post more often! But it might be a while since sadly I can’t be a tiger all the time; sometimes I have to pass as human. Fortunately, @thatislebeav.bsky.social and #humpandhooves were able to help me with that. #TFTuesday

After my #runDisney races last weekend, I went over to Disney's Animal Kingdom to see if they needed any more dancers for their Zootopia show. Sadly, they didn't (plus I'm not an animatronic), and there weren't any openings for more tigers in Asia, either. 📷: Disney @forfunbangkok.bsky.social

Returning to #FurCon2026 after many years of not going reminded me of how creative, inclusive, and talented our community is. It was great to spend time with old friends, meet new ones, and soak it all in. Big thanks to the @furcon.bsky.social staff for all their hard work. See you next year?

The start of the year is a good reminder that I’m overdue to post an intro. After all, I joined Bluesky in 2024. So… hai, I’m GrowlTiger! I’m a feral tiger in the wilds of California, mated to and in service of Master Lion. My day job is tech, but I’ve long wanted to be a circus cat. Please say hi!
