though it's the other way around, inks in clip and colors in procreate. For a few pages of the comic I'm working on i did the pencils in procreate and the inks in clip

oh TOTALLY. A lot of people do. They both accept psd files, though certain features won't translate (masking, text, vector) My buddy Ryan has done this for his comics when he isn't inking them analog. I think this page is an example

GrossGiirl @grossgiirl.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Clip studio is for the stuff I want to look clean and polished. I use procreate to mess around because i like how it handles textures more, and also I haven't quite landed on how to consistently stay at my standard of clean. Which is maybe a good thing cause i'm forced to loosen up.

Why do you think it's conservative? Dashiell Hammet was a left wing anti-fascist, and by the late 30's was an active communist. The Maltese Falcon, as I remember it, was chaotic in its worldview and generally ambiguous. Hammet regularly wrote cops to be sorta narrow minded sometimes corrupt dicks.

So the cognitive and emotional abilities of a person is taken into account just as much as the facts of the case. Anyone using it outside of court (like sony) is likely using it as an argumentative tool, which is different than what a lawyer/jury/judge/consultants do.

110

GrossGiirl @grossgiirl.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

It's a purposely vague definition because it is up to the judge or jury to be given enough facts to understand the scope of the full situation and cast judgement from there. It's vague, because it has to be flexible, not all court cases are alike and people are diverse, as you've said.

110

GrossGiirl @grossgiirl.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

By reasonable, the legal system (as I understand it) does mean "average person" but often the standard that leads to understanding is very straight forward. "Would a reasonable person assume they'd need to wear cloths in public"

110

GrossGiirl @grossgiirl.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

and center (I'm assuming for the sake of my example) and C) The game remains in their library for long periods of time without enforcement of the concept of a license or lease (again making up for the example)

110

GrossGiirl @grossgiirl.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

spending money on a video game assume that they are buying it and they own it, given that A) the store uses phrases like "purchase" and "buy" B) Any definition of a lease or a license is not front

110

GrossGiirl @grossgiirl.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

angry that the thing they bought isn't theirs. In legal scenarios it's primarily used as phrasing to explain common sense. "Would a reasonable person presented with this situation act upon X assumption" In this case, would a reasonable person

110

GrossGiirl @grossgiirl.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

that seems like a different conversation than what is being presented. Here, it's gaslighting from the very company who was a defendant both in court and in a PR campaign. They want the consumer to assume this is not only normal, but they ought to feel foolish for being

110

GrossGiirl @grossgiirl.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

That's gotta be surreal. I feel like looking back at classic comics, both cape and arthouse, you see a ton of even more classic influence. To be a professional artist in those days in any industry, they all had to study the same fundamentals and look at the masters

050

GrossGiirl @grossgiirl.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

"Everything you give us money for is a lease" is not a feature like it is for cars.

obviously this is the reason you gotta work out. As Atlas lifts the world, you must lift his gargantuan squish face.
