One read on this is cover for getting the containment systems sorted out, so they slow everyone and then ”we fixed it” full throttle in 12 months when they fix it. Or they realize they can milk the current state for a while and don’t want anyone else to 1-up them.

I cannot get over how much of the iPhone Duo is what was leaked / talked about for Andromeda. "Postures". It's only missing the carpenter pencil. If it hadn't been a decade, and the Surface Duo hadn't happened, it'd have thought this was industrial espionage!

I don't know know if Indian prices include sales tax, but the US prices do not -- so add 5-10% depending on the state. Or 0% for some states. (It's complicated -- just sub your own VAT, and then compare)

Maybe i'm miss understanding / miss using skills wrong. Skills are what we develop through repeated application & refinement of what we do. You don't have a 'skill' from taking a class. You have a skill through practice. But only as far as they are valuable. Why else would you do them? ('value' tbd)

Skill atrophying is only relevant if you think the skill swill be needed again. If you think the robots 'are the worst they will ever be', and aren't going back in the middle, then your atrophied skills will not be relevant.
