I've been painting a lot of T'au at the moment, and went for Soviet vibes with the colour scheme. #painting #miniatures #warhammercommunity #nerdlings #T'au

Converted up and painted this guy for my renegade space marine force, he acts as a Chaos lord. And the hammer adds so much to him! #warhammer #nerdlings #chaos #miniatures #painting #warhammercommunity

There's a little bit but I'm hoping to expand it at some stage! Hopefully do it through games too which will be fun.

Some guardsmen of the 1077th Mortrachian meat-shields, named by @maliceunchained.bsky.social , it's mostly a contrast job but they're fun to paint up! One day I'll invest in a background that isn't my desk. #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #nerdlings #painting

Really want to get some of these with the gas mask heads Warlord sell, they're so cool!

010

Groltag @groltag.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

They aren't as punchy as Blade guard, but having that -1 to wound when led by a captain is pretty nice. They're a good little unit and keep your captain going for longer!

This was my last miniature of 2025, a Grand master in a Nemesis Dreadknight. Now I want 5 more of these. Help. #warhammercommunity #nerdlings #warhammer40k #painting #paintingminis #greyknights

Whilst not my best work I'll admit due to some mental health struggles. I've managed to paint up some LI Blood angels infantry. #warhammercommunity #warhammer #bloodangels #legionsimperialis #paintingminis

We've got more Leagues of Votann here. There'll be more of these Kin here as I've plenty more to do. They're proving honestly rather therapeutic and beneficial to my mental health. #warhammer40k #leaguesofvotann #painting #miniatures #warhammercommunity

I've also been painting Emperor's children too! Lovely minis but I chose a painful semi-random paint scheme for myself! I guess pain in that way is excessive so it counts right? #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #chaos40k #painting #miniatures #miniaturepainting

So, Mantic Games, who I believed were akin to the second coming of The Good GW, are now using AI image generation, confirmed in their latest Youtube video and their discord. I am deeply disappointed in this move and will not be buying their products again.

An AI-generated image advertising Dreadball allstars, from Mantic Games.

Anyone in the #Warhammer community got any recommendations for non-GW, non-Mantic games of a similar vibe? I'm looking for something that doesn't cost the GNP of an entire country, and Mantic have revealed they're AI-using dicks, so I need a new option.
