Mr. Roger’s was a stand up human. I remember seeing his show, re-runs of it when I was younger and thinking how gentle he was. I think far too often people equate gentleness to weakness, and that’s not the case here. As a kid when I watched his show I felt SAFE, like he was watching out for me.
