Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 8hFirst bump in the road trying to make a game using only #claude code. My vision differs significantly from the technical capabilities of Claude in its current form. I will resolve this with some pep-talk as soon as my token limits reset. #ai #gamedev #indiedev 175
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 06/10/2026Day 2 of #claude in #blender. Basic scene complete. Will make it more lived in and textured later. Tomorrow I'm going to try creating and rigging the characters, as that's the part I'm most concerned we'll run into problems. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame 0105
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 05/10/2026Ever since I was 6 years old, I always dreamed of making my own video game but never got around to actually learning #coding or #3d modelling. Today I got the idea to see how far I can get using only #claude and myself. I'll keep you updated on the progress. #gamedev #gamedesign 0124

Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 22/09/2026Thank you for providing input as someone who has actually taken the deep dive on the subject! So the tax you're proposing would reflect the external costs of automation, only imposed if the company doesn't voluntarily share productivity gains with workers and/or customers. I like it! 110
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 21/09/2026Yeah I'm not looking forward to joining the labor force 1-2 years from now. At this rate it's better to just continue with a master's, PhD, etc (racking up student debt) until it all gets sorted. 110
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 21/09/2026For humanoid robots perhaps companies could pay the replaced worker's wage into some social security fund that is used for some form of UBI. Risks creating a big gap between the unemployed (UBI-class) and those who still work (skilled-labor-class), though. 210
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 21/09/2026What we fail to realize is that our ways don't suit everyone. We saw it with Saddam Hussein. We see it with Mohammed bin Salman. Not all cultures have Europe's desire to be "free" in the western sense. 011
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 21/09/2026I'd be hesitant to call entire populations "monstrous", but you make a good point. We see our European democracy and values of individualism combined with strong welfare as the ultimate good; the least backwards of any political system. 110
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 21/09/2026Is number 6 also open-air like that? And what kind of medical treatments are done in these bathhouses? 200
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 21/09/2026The family living in the flat above mine seems to have outsourced their infant's parenting to an iPad and the children's music it's playing sounds like a rave. Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 20/09/2026In Sweden there's Omni which summarizes the most important national and international news from other sources (with the goal to report on things as objectively as possible). Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 17/09/2026Yeah, too overpowered country for agriculture and such. I'm thinking visa free movement of labor and similar things could be cool (assuming there's nothing already), data roaming as well. Don't know how difficult it'd be to implement... 100
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 16/09/2026I don't mean people will necessarily be playing any of these in 100 years time but as you said they might be considered having key roles in the entertainment landscape. 110
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 16/09/2026Last of Us is a good candidate, but again 87 years from now we might have forgotten. 000
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 16/09/2026Starcraft I can agree with. Never went in depth with the lore and everything (all I remember are casual sessions when I was like 10/11), but it's one of the greats. World of Warcraft has a legacy. I'm curious about Skyrim after ESVI (some people still prefer the older titles), might have potential 210
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 16/09/2026Minecraft can likely stand the test of time. For others I'm not so sure. 100 years is a looong time for entertainment and things that felt significant 5-10 years ago don't have as much relevance now. Fortnite for example, not a masterpiece, and won't survive 100 years, but still significant impact. 110
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 16/09/2026That's fair. We wouldn't coerce them into it or anything, but I feel they would be most compatible so the door should always be open in case they want to strengthen ties. As for the French farmers I think the recent trade agreement with South America did more damage than NZ association would. 200

Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 08/09/2026Greed knows no limits. The people in positions of power have the resources to move themselves and anyone they care about to safety if anything were to happen. 110
Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 08/09/2026Which is understandable. We're giving them unrestricted access to something more addictive than slot machines. I'm really hoping EU's current feud with Meta will lead to some significant changes in the way social media is developed and used. 010

Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 08/09/2026As I understand it there are different levels to it and when you use level 1-3 it can give some mild enhancements but when people are doing lvl 5 on GTA III it ends up looking like a terrifying mess of AI Slop. 010

Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 28/08/2026I don't want to jinx it but from what they showed, the storytelling has the chance to surpass even that of RDR2. I'm going to try to stay completely in the dark on it until I get to experience it first-hand for the first time. 100

Benjamin C. Grimm @grimm.wsocial.eu · 27/08/2026Spot on. People also tend to end up changing themselves (consciously or subconsciously) to fit the labels they and others have given them. Other parts of these people's personalities may have flourished if they had allowed them to develop independently of their labels. 010
