It's great for building custom progress bars 😁 At the moment I need a complex calc. Still looking for more cases to use it for.

Great article but as already mentioned I prefer to use the appearance none approach for now since that does allow us to use the before and after pseudo element to provide a custom checkbox and radio style without needing a specific HTML setup

Sometimes you look at an old HTML document and see some weird tags and snippets from bygone eras. I've complied many legacy HTML bits I've noticed and documented what they were and why there were present. Many of them are rather obscure. Satisfy your curiosity: vale.rocks/posts/html-r...

To target multiple classes with the same prefix, you'd typically have to resort to brittle attribute selectors. To make things easier, CSS is getting a new selector: the “Class Prefix Selector” (`.foo-*`). Check brm.us/class-prefix... to get the details. (Browser Support: None 😛 — just resolved!)

Sublime never quite clicked for me; I moved from Brackets to Atom, VSCode, and now Zed. I really appreciate Zed's simplicity, but I definitely get why some people switch back to Sublime from VSCode or its forks once those start feeling bloated. For me, Zed is the right pick.

I actually use it with `field-sizing: content;` so it has a text based min height. And as a fallback for iOS Safari for `::-webkit-date-and-time-value` so it does not collapse into nothing if there is no value. I btw did not consider using it for the text flow so definitely using that 😉
