MX idle concept, one with both arms down and another with his right fist raised up, sorta as a nod to those older reference images of MX from back in the day. Design is meant to sorta be a mix of the current MX design with some other aspects from fan designs thrown in (notably Mario's Madness/Marco Antonio's MX), all blended together into my attempt at replicating the Rivals sprite style.

MX on my original Mario '85 stage design with Maypul. I really gotta remake this stage because it's showing its age that's for sure, like not every sprite needs to be SMB1-ified if you get what I'm talking about.

My MX sprite concept next to qwerty's MX and A completely sane man's MX, for scale reference and just because I could put them there. I wanted to sorta take cues from both designs; the scale and overall bulk of qwerty's MX, and the more relaxed edges and softer lines on Acsm's MX.

This isn't any sort of teaser or leak for the mod because it's just been kinda stagnant for a long while now, this is me just shaping up a sprite concept as well as a color/shading test for fun since I've been getting back into Rivals recently. Though that doesn't mean I feel like it won't happen eventually, stuff like this takes time, and people get very busy with real life things.

More progress has been made on my SMB1R resource pack, I'm currently doing more on the level tilesets than other sprites rn, but I have been chipping away at some other miscellaneous sprites alongside them. I like how this pack's coming along, but it's gonna be a long while now before it's released

The goofy looking Boo is named Rodney (Rod for short), the Boo with his arms up is named Mike, and the unimpressed Boo with the eyelashes is named Stella.

Gonna be honest these took awhile to make because I wanted them to look more pointed but then realised it'd look weird if you stood on them

Desert Tileset that I've been chipping away at, most of it's done but I do have to add a few more touchups.
