The year 2025 ended both with a broad expression of solidarity of people across the world with #Palestine Refugees, and with further steps taken by the Israeli Authorities setting a dangerous precedent. International human rights law and international humanitarian law must be protected.

This week, @unrwa.org has supported more than 1,600 forcibly displaced families from Jenin, Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps with Cash for Rent. These #PalestineRefugees from the northern #WestBank have often endured repeated displacement, significantly increasing vulnerability and protection risks.

With settler violence targeting the annual olive harvest across the #WestBank, October 2025 is on track to be the most violent month since UNRWA began tracking it. “Families should be allowed unhindered access to their lands to harvest their olives in safe conditions” says UNRWA’s Roland Friedrich.

Since the start of the war in Gaza, the occupied #WestBank, including East Jerusalem, has also witnessed a sharp escalation in violence. More than 1,000 Palestinians, including children, have been killed, and many more injured or displaced. This must stop. The future of Gaza and West Bank are one.

The first batch of insulin syringes procured with a generous contribution from the Government of China have arrived in @unrwa.org warehouses in the #WestBank. These insulin syringes will soon be distributed to diabetic patients, ensuring a regular and uninterrupted supply.
