Appalling reports from #Myanmar's Rakhine State. An airstrike on a market in Kyauktaw has reportedly killed and injured dozens.  Civilians must be protected.   International humanitarian law must be respected.  Humanitarians are staying and delivering despite the danger.

Excellent to see President Ahmad al-Sharaa at #UNGA, having met regularly during my Syria visits. 3.8m Syrians have returned home voluntarily since December. Alongside government we’re focused on clearing mines so more can rebuild their lives safely.
