I have a sociological take I’ve been sitting on for about 2 days. I hate that slang moves so fast that it goes from non-existent to contextless in one step (person invents a piece or slang, and the first people to hear it, use it without getting the context: “Jake Paul got bodied.” 🫩

Jake Paul getting punched in the jaw. Literally not his body. This is not a body blow. This is not a body blow that takes the wind out of somebody. This is not depiction of Anthony Joshua being so strong that he can KO Paul with body blows.

Sometimes I can forget how cool my country of residence is. But this year, for “reasons” I didn’t travel during summer break, so I put my butt on a train to see some countryside. This is Yaizu, a fishing port west of Shizuoka city.

The moon has essentially no atmosphere. Sunlight that does not touch the moon has no way to get turned in or down towards the moon. Yet, sometimes the dark sides (not far side) of the moon are illuminated. Is that reflection of light reflected off of the earth’s surface?
