This is clearly a good result for Labour, but it also doesn't strike me as a terrible result for the Greens. Vote share held up from the local elections in a constituency that was never really a target for them

4 things we're asking the UK government to do, to end a system that is blocking climate action and threatening human rights ✔️ Join the global ISDS Days of Action. 15-17 October 2026. stopisds.global/en/
Text reads: 1. Getting out of existing treaties. The UK govt should cancel or renegotiate treaties to remove ISDS.2. Working with other countries. To make sure we can collectively step away from these treaties.3. Committing to not signing any new ISDS agreements.4. Starting talks on an international treaty to end ISDS everywhere.

The ICJ says Israel is an apartheid state. An independent commission of inquiry of the UN says its committing genocide. @sdoughtymp.bsky.social : "We have a strong & ongoing relationship with Israel" Yes, you're siding us with a genocidal apartheid state. Is that why you entered politics?

The Tories have announced they would abolish Natural England, support a Third Runway & pull the UK out of the Aarhus Convention - in further signs they’ve totally given up on Middle England, don’t give a toss about the environment & just want to please some wealthy grouse moor owners & raving YIMBYs
Tory party press release: “[We will leave the Aarhus] Convention that powers the lawfare hindering every major infrastructure project in this country.”

“Abolish Natural England and the Environment Agency, moving to a more streamlined regulatory landscape to protect our environment.”Tory PR: “Support a Third Runway at Heathrow Airport and wider expansion, increasing capacity to deliver cheaper flights, better connections for passengers, and more exports of high-value British goods.”

Labour just don't get it. They don't get how scared people are with extreme weather becoming our new normal. We need voices in parliament that will force them to take wildfires seriously, not quietly shirk responsibility.
Revealed: government quietly dropped plan to orepare England for wildfires

Good article and important points The problem is most see murdered kids, flattened buildings, tortured prisoners and a genocide People used to avoid comment for fear of being seen as anti-Semitic - no longer The behaviour of Israel poisons everything it touches - particularly Jewish identity
