I decided to challenge myself into making a full #ttrpg zine using only HTML and CSS to make the layout and oh god it's not as simple as I thought it would be, despite my experience with web, CSS is definitely not built for this. I'll still take this challenge to the end, but after that, never again

God Codeberg is so good, I wish that in 2023 I had moved straight to it from GitHub, instead of wasting my time on GitLab. It genuinely feels like a platform to store git repos and nothing else, refreshing to see this type of software not trying to sell me anything else.

Today I deploy version 1.4.0 of Tabledown to production adding mainly two new features "roll macros" and "custom CSS for rooms", which ended up allowing me to create weird (but fun) unexpected behaviors, such as triggering animations on rolls lol #ttrpg #vtt

Why do I have to approve every single comment at Itch? The worst part is that it's kinda of hidden where to approve comments also dashboard > game > edit > click to see more tabs > edit comments > pending posts. And this for every single game I have, and I don't get a notification either. #ttrpg

NEW: Platformer has obtained the dehumanizing new guidelines moderating what people can now say about trans people on Facebook and Instagram. Employees tell me these changes are likely to inspire more violence against LGBT people: www.platformer.news/meta-new-trans-…

And in a follow-up questions about whether denying that a protected class violates the hateful content policy, Meta also answers no. It gave these as examples of posts that are now allowed on Facebook and Instagram:

"There's no such thing as trans children."
"God created two genders, 'transgender' people are not a real thing."
"This whole nonbinary thing is made up. Those people don't exist, they're just in need of some therapy."
"A trans woman isn't a woman, it's a pathetic confused man."
"A trans person isn't a he or she, it's an it."
These seem like strange allowances for a policy that begins: “We believe that people use their voice and connect more freely when they don’t feel attacked on the basis of who they are,” and later states flatly, “we remove dehumanizing speech.” It is hard to imagine speech more dehumanizing than to tell someone that they have no gender and are an “it.”
