seems to me that rapid population decline could introduce new conditions of possibility, but I'm not sure there is an automatic relationship between a smaller pool of labor for capital to exploit and increased leverage for labor, especially if new technology concomitantly increases productivity

to whatever extent this is true, it is because people like Briahna Joy Gray and Sana Saeed are part of a class fraction of "left" content creators that is even more disconnected from actually existing movements of workers, the poor, and the oppressed than the organized left is.
