Here’s my nuanced take on RPGs: I wanna be playing more RPGs. I want multiple different games running with different people all with their own nuanced takes on RPGs. …and not have ANY of those games be D&D or its direct clones. I make an exception for Nimble.

I guess to someone whose brain has withered to the size of a raisin dusted with Cheetoh powder, LLMs _would_ appear to be a Super Intelligence. To the rest of us not beholden to soulless tech companies though, it is still an insane algorithm.

Yes, I understand super-long anime titles are running rampant, but shortening "転校生の清楚可憐な美少女が、昔男子と思って遊んだ幼馴染だった件" to "Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her" sounds terrible. It should at least be "The Beautiful Transfer Student Was My Childhood Friend Who I Thought Was A Boy."

My wandering thought experiment of the evening: an RPG where you make seemingly normal, mundane characters, but each session the GM randomly rolls a different set of rules for that game, and the players must navigate the adventure while trying to understand how things work. #justlikegamechanger

It's pretty damned stupid that so many companies that have job postings for, essentially, entry-level retail jobs, are requiring you to provide a cover letter in addition to your resumé. Not as bad as using AI systems to "read" your submission. But usually they're doing BOTH.

I'll mention this here, too: I'm working on a hack that mixes the mechanics of *The Wildlings* and River Horse's version of the *My Little Pony RPG*, with the fictional cartoony-ness of *Adventure Time*. It felt relevant since the official *AT* RPG will be just another rehash of *D&D 5e*.
