Well look at that! Coming across your post as an ad against Prop 40 pops up on my TV. I see way too many of them.

Beginning Keyboarding, freshman, fall of 1994. It's now habit and I've tried to consciously not to. I doubt I'll let it catch on. I did come out of it at 92wpm.

Carnegie from The Book of Eli: "It's not a fuckin' book! It's a weapon! A weapon aimed right at the hearts and minds of the weak and desperate. It will give us control of them!" To twist it for your own agenda is to betray its very purpose.

I worked one day at a garment factory in the garment district in Los Angeles. It was located beneath the freeway. Hearing cars over us was a little nerve racking. Why only one day? Moving boxes all day wasn't for me. But respect for those who do. (25yrs ago)

Don't feel the need to go into depth on this but I fucking hated MF's Carrie - a few fine performances lost among eight pointless episodes of drawn out, unscary drivel. Stories like Carrie are why we have 98 minute movies. Felt like I was watching One Tree Hill 95% of the time. Just total nonsense.

The amount of ads to vote no on 40 as well as voting yes on the other two is crazy. Tubi is crazy, they show the same ad multiple times in a row.

Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024. In 2025, he made 1,794x more. And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers? I will continue my boycott of Starbucks.

I'm blessed to only spend about $80 in fuel per month since I'm a caregiver who works from home. But what once cost me $80 now costs me $120. That extra $40 normally went to food to feed the family.

I also have to say that many years ago there was a child death that included a huge truck. The driver didn't see the child and ran them over. The driver was convicted of vehicular manslaughter. That young girl was on her way to school.

I was waiting for a car to exit the gas station onto the road with a huge truck behind me. I stopped to make sure it was safe to take my turn to exit and this truck pulls up next to me and then takes off! With no regard to oncoming traffic. + I witness cars roll stops constantly.
