Today's Monday so... Sliced garden tomato and basil, 1/4 lb. shredded mozzarella, sautéed seasoned diced tomatoes (blended before reducing) as sauce, all on a scratch crust. Crust edge was brushed with olive oil and basil added after cooking. Sometimes simpler is better.

Two apps; one is so far resisting unamerican fascism from the pedo administration (MapQuest), the other is supporting unamerican fascism (Google maps). Choose wisely.

100%. This is a bare minimum position for candidates seeking election or reelection.

Adventures in Elder Care™ continued... 7/29/26 Epilogue #3 After over a month I finally have my dad's obituary up. Condensing 93 years of life into a page is difficult, and depressing. Hopefully those who've known me for a while got a better sense of who my dad was from other things I've written.

Twin Cedars™ Update... Original 1934 fir t&g fir flooring got its first coat of clear satin water based polyurethane, and after a couple of hours, I puttied all the seams and nail holes. Tomorrow it'll get 3 rounds of sanding and recoats. It looked pretty good before putty, but now looks extra.

Greetings from southern Oregon where I'm meeting up with fellow Italian car enthusiasts I've been meeting with since 1998. Also to clear my head after my father's death at 93 last month. I spent the last 4 years helping him.

Despite appearances, it is not Monday. The oil drain plug on BobaBus 2.2 stripped out upon reinstallation. I blame BobaBus's previous owner's mechanic. I always use a torque wrench. Thankfully O'Reilly Auto Parts had the necessary thread repair kit in stock.

It's Sunday so... My favorite; Hawaiian.

An image of a home made Hawaiian pizza. The cheese is ever so slightly browned on top of Canadian bacon and pineapple over puréed seasoned tomatoes and a scratch crust.

Spent part of the day on a troop in Fife to support a fundraiser at Costco for Children's Miracle Network. We surprised many customers and a few staff. I'm the taller stormtrooper on the right.
