This wonderful country of ours is worth fighting for. And the best is yet to come — if we put in the work required. #cdnpoli www.nationalobserver.com/2026/06/30/o...

This piece by @theturner.bsky.social is deep, as is the majority of his writing. It is worth the read, it gives clean technology and innovation their due respect. www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/arti...

Opinion: The real fight for Canada’s energy future is being fought at a global scale – and the clean side is winning
Rather than picking sides at home, the Carney government’s new electricity strategy seems to be aimed at joining the global march to victory

In chemistry, a supersaturated solution is one where you've kept adding a solute to a liquid beyond where the liquid can dissolve everything. All it takes is a nucleation site / seed crystal for the solution to rapidly (sometimes violently) crystalize. Unrelatedly, the US has more guns than people.

They're mad at #Canada for not being sufficiently bullied, and that's just the price for what we have to do these days," said Steve Saideman, who holds the Paterson Chair in International Affairs at Carleton University.

This is amazing - @kevinolearytv 🤡 is fearmongering about Chinese agents opposing his giant Utah data center… but it’s 2 young local girls in Utah who hilariously call him (and his “dumbass hat”) out👇🏽 Full: www.instagram.com/reel/DYU074V...

The accidental statesman: How Donald Trump saved free trade, European democracy and the free world

Greg Fergus: "Imagine if we had won a clear majority in 2025 during the general election. Imagine if people were dissatisfied in the caucus and they left and we became a minority. Clearly, everybody would be calling for us to change the committee structure."

I wrote about the Toronto municipal election and how the the three white front runners failed to show up at the only Black community debate for a growing voter constituency www.thestar.com/opinion/contributor…

Opinion | For Black people, the political process in Canada is dubious
When it comes to political or economic power, Black communities are still at the back of the bus and are taken for granted.
