Finished Cai's Part 1. 36hrs This alone would be my favorite game this year but it's just 1 part of 4 for the first part of this mega game.

If I knew for certain Helix would have Steam support and was coming out next year, I'd probably start selling my PC parts

Elon giving republicans 276 million during the midterm election is gross. Donate that to making the world a better place instead of trying to elect people who want to make it worse.

Halo 2 is my 5th favorite game of all time. I love the original trilogy I think what they should do with the series is just retire it It's never going to rekindle that magic. I rather see them focus on a new IP.

If you like Persona and Final Fantasy & you could only get 1 one which one would you get: Persona 6 or Final Fantasy VII Revelation

If you didn't think Skydance was the worst already... Bobby Kotick is joining their board.

My biggest surprise this year is Ace Combat 8. I never played this series, but I wanted something different and it delivered. Finished the 9th mission and its so epic.

3rd weekend with Fire Emblem 30hrs in Started off with Lede (got to chapter 4) then switched to Cai (at chapter 10) Plan is going back to Lede after Cai's story then taking a break. Catchup on other games before finishing the other 2 characters.

000

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

If Fire Emblem was just Cai's story it would be my favorite game this year but it's just 1 part of a massive game.

I don't agree with buying E-Day if you got Gamepass. I heard a podcast and reddit post tell you to buy it Microsoft is a 4trillion company. That's the business model they created. Donate the $70 to Extra Life or buy a game from an indie company. Microsoft does not need your charity purchase.

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

This is a problem I have when a sequel comes out for a game I really love. Playing this game just makes me rather play Control for the 5th time.

010

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I'm kinda bummed out. Control Resonant just isn't clicking for me. Fighting enemies is just boring and enemies keep spawning every time you walk down a street

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Guess Fire Emblem fans are gatekeeping saying you can't play casual. Well I'm playing Casual/Hard, same way I played Three Houses.

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Namco saved me some money for now. Ace Combat 8 isn't Xbox Play Anywhere, The PC version seems to have performance issues while the Xbox version needs a subscription (game pass core) for multiplayer. Would have grabbed it day 1 if it was Xbox Play Anywhere. Play MP on PC when it gets fixed.

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

One is a live service that will get cancelled in 3yrs The other is Last of Us Remake Remaster for the PS6

000

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I think the next new game I get will be Ace Combat 8. Mainly cause it will be something different for me and it looks fantastic. But I'm not getting anything new till I finish Control Resonant or Fire Emblem which isn't going to be for a while

010

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

2nd impression on Control Resonant Not sure I will like it more than the first one. It's a high bar to beat so doesn't mean I'm unhappy with the game Just been fighting standard enemies and I enjoy the gameplay loop more with the gun in Control than the melee weapon in this game.

Disney+ with no ads going to $21.49 I remember it being $7 not that long ago

000

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Finished Dawnwalker now I can focus on Fire Emblem and Control for the next few weeks. Probably give the game a 7/10. Had some good moments but I was ready to be done with it. It's a good foundation for a future sequel.

010

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

🤔 My personal game of the year maybe repeating a trend 17- Persona 5 18- indie game (Celeste) 19- Fire Emblem Three Houses (runner up Control) 24- Persona 3 Reloaded 25- indie game (Hades 2) 26 - ??? Fire Emblem again ??? (Control Resonant runner up ???)

Even with all these Switch games being 30% off 41.99 for some of these old games are still too much. I'll blame Steam and everyone else for selling their old games for less than $20 when on sale.

000

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Only got 4.5hrs into Fire Emblem this weekend but so far I liked what I played. Started off with Leda.

Just found out Nintendo is doing a sale cause of the tariff refund and people are mad. What is Sony & Microsoft doing?

010

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I was listening to a podcast doing top 10 PS4 games so I made a list as well: 1. Persona 5 Royal 2. Celeste 3. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth 4. Control 5. The Last of Us Part 2 6. Overwatch 7. Hollow Knight 8. Dark Souls 3 9. Destiny 2 10. Resident Evil 7 Tetris Effect & God of War just missed it

Blizzard made a new Warcraft 3 expansion as well? Wow what a Blizzcon this year.

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I'm reading about WoW Forever and I'm thinking about giving it a try in November. Especially since I have no interest in GTA

Was tempted to buy a game today but just got reminded fire emblem comes out Thursday. Fire Emblem Three Houses was my favorite Switch game.

I can't believe IGN posted a story titled "PlayStation’s Future Has Never Looked Bleaker" Feel like someone is going to go get fired.

I did not realize Blizzcon is tomorrow. Always felt like it was in October.

I hate getting to the end of a game and the final boss is 3x harder than anything else in the game. It's either just quit playing or bash your head for hours trying to figure it out. Game I'm referring to is Divinum

I dont think The Pitt is going to help with the nursing shortage in this country. After 2 episodes I would want to stay far away from the medical field.

110

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Guessing what my game of the year will be: 35% Control Resonant 25% Phantom Blade Zero 10% Gears E-Day 7% The Blood of Dawnwalker 7% Onimusha 5% something else 11% Pragmata, currently in the lead.

000

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

After reading reviews I'm going to go with Dawnwalker and wait on Ominusha. Just more in the mood for an open world vampire game than a samurai game at this time.

000

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

For months I thought I would get whichever reviews better and get the other one later. Both have a 85 on metacritic Blood of the Dawn Walker Ominusha

000

GreenZombie @greenzombie.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Onimusha 10/10 The Blood of Dawnwalker 9/10 On ign 👀

Finished Peacemaker so bummed there is no 3rd season. I just want more Vigilante. Also watched the 1st episode of Lanterns and The Pitt I can see why The Pitt has won so many awards.
