My last phone was in working order but certain apps, including the @nytimes.com and my bank, would no longer update. Same with my last laptop, but it couldn't handle Windows 11, and 10 was coming to its expiration date. Luckily, no one can arbitrarily take my 1999 Honda Accord out of service.

My husband was struck by a car and sustained a traumatic brain injury (thankfully, he's well now). His hospital stay was one month, of which two weeks were in the rehab unit. He was 69 at the time. Mitch's length of hospitalization? I agree that it does not make much sense.
