(did you intentionally line it up so this one would fall on the 18th post in the thread?)

Same. I tried twice and just couldn't bring myself to care enough. I switched to The Murderbot Diaries and was so much happier.

Fantastically surreal, as always. Thank you for sharing for those of us who don't make it in person!

Fulfillment of my @backerkit.com #Pocketopia campaign for #GnomeSquad has officially begun! My coffee table is covered in game and package assembly and I love it! #boardgames #boardgamedesign 🎲✂️ #crowdfunding

A table covered in many stacks of vinyl wallets and playing cards. A few sets of colorful dice and small resin frogs are to the left.

I definitely like the wood background and red text. The red pops a little and the wood feels natural.

Right?? That was my first thought too. (Obviously then my second thought was how different it is to run my one-person company versus their whole situation. But still!)

Oh yes, I'm about to be a regular at the post office for the next month or so!

Nothing new yet, because I've finally got all my components back from the printer and I'm getting ready to fulfill my Backerkit campaign!

Another great looking game by Judson Cowan (of Deep Regrets fame) with another incredible #Kickstarter video! Go check it out! #boardgames

Finally received the printed cards for #GnomeSquad! But the printer forgot the copies of my other games I was having them reprint, so I'm still on "hold" for being able to fulfill a lot of my backers' orders...

Yessss! Shipping confirmation from my manufacturer means #GnomeSquad will be in my hands in just a few days! Then it'll be time to start assembly and packing orders. Can't wait to get the finished product out there! #boardgames #boardgamedesign 🎲✂️

Oh hey, that's in my hometown! Do you do the SPX every year? I'm already booked next weekend, but I'm sure my parents would love me to come visit for it next year.

My older son hates playing boardgames with us because he couldn't handle any competitive activity when he was younger, then he wanted to quarterback everyone else's turn, now he just doesn't want to hang out with us. My younger loves it, but only wants to play the same 4 games over and over.

A new #PAXUnplugged in Houston?? At the end of June when I traditionally have time off??? Looks like #boardgames in 2027 are gonna be a great time!

Today is the 6 year anniversary of the dream that would become my very first #boardgame design 🎲✂️, #PriseDeFer. 1500 copies in print since then, and my 6th game design is about to ship from the printer any day. It’s been quite a journey so far and I’m looking forward to keeping it going!

Philadelphia has the @phillygameshop.bsky.social. Regular play events, a monthly designer night, and they definitely have a shelf for local designer's games. Love them!

Wow! Incredible find. I loved that game growing up. I remember writing down all those recipes on scratch paper and madly shuffling through them laid out on the desk in front of me.

God, this is so true. I was literally just trying to explain this concept to my 15 yr old on the spectrum. Life events will not always be your preferred outcome. People will not always do what you want them to. But you have to learn to exist and find a way to continue instead of freeze locking.

GreenCloak Creative (Adam)🔺Gnome Squad🔺 @greencloak.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

This was my concern as well. Imagine going through all that and then whoosh all your toad bones are gone! You have to start all over and meanwhile your friends and family are going, "oi, Reggie, tough one, mate. Stinkin' like frog death agin, are we?"

It's been a great many years since I've really watched it, but maybe those people were programs created by Morpheus' crew? Like the woman in the red dress later. Limited animations and functionality, only there to serve a specific fishing purpose.

That's how I feel about both the Wandavision and Moon Knight shows. Fantastic journeys along the way that kind of rushed their final chapters. I think I still give them grace though because they were limited series. LOST gets no such pass. I'm still bitter about everything they squandered.

GreenCloak Creative (Adam)🔺Gnome Squad🔺 @greencloak.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

About 30% of backers added them to their order. I think that's a pretty decent number. And since they're inexpensive to make and easy to add to a shipping mailer, I'm optimistic.

This afternoon I did prep work for ordering the #GnomeSquad campaign reward stickers! I was never much of a sticker guy, but apparently people love them! So I might actually do them again in the future for conventions.
