Never did much with this map. Thinking of opening it up for an art challenge. Curious what kinds of creatures people think live on the island? What kind of story would you tell here?

Isle of Oris Map
A map of a crescent shaped volcanic island done in black and white. A the top and bottom of the crescent are two mountains named Mt. Odeladani in the south and Mt. Degerel in the north. In the middle of the crescent is a crater lake called Lake Arabian. The island has a few settlements and is implied by the amount of things on it to be huge. Many of the places seem to have proper names for them as though this was a place named by outsiders through conquest.

Speed paint exploring signifiers and environments for #Ha-Nahn with some new understanding of how to do concept art and what I use it for. This came together in about 3 hrs which is blisteringly fast for me.

a screenshot of concept art I did for #Ha-Nahn. It features a desert scene with orange sand, dark brown almost black rocky outcroppings all throughout with the mountains and hills fading into the distance. Many of the rocks are eye stones which are these large rock formations with odd circular holes in them.
