Fijo que lo que querían era tratar de desgastar al Gobierno, que se cabreasen porque "es que no se mueven" que se hablase de ellos una y otra vez, así quedaban como los salvadores. El Gobierno dijo que no, que ya era momento. Y los otros pues dijeron "va, ahora decimos que no y quedan mal". Y hala.

Yo entiendo lo que quieren. Pero es que creo que no entienden lo que pasaría. Si hicieran algo a lo Putin (expropiaciones salvajes, etc) vendría Europa y una de dos, o nos dan una patada (y luego viene Estados Unidos a implantar "democracia" poniendo a Abascal) o estamos pagando años compensaciones.

I did not say "they were not profitable". I said "did not perform as expected". Maybe Sony wanted 10, 50, 300 times as budget. Most companies lately they want a huge return in everything, so if they feared another "only x2 budget" they thought was not worth anymore.

Eh, if Sony wants to dig their own grave, it's their own problem. I am just repeating the same thing : they made a financial choice, and they're gonna have to deal with their consequences, which is right now not having PHYSINT and also having their name on the mud since the physical killing choice.

I agree on that too, like "we can take those losses" should be something in mind. Either they've switched to reducing costs, veering away from videogames or going to absolute surefire consolidated IPs. That, or trying to go (again) for the GaaS which has failed so much. You never know.

please do not misunderstand the words. Sony made a choice based on finances. I do not think was a good one, but cannot blame them. I think it will be a loss if PHYSINT never releases, Kojima games are an experience. Is a Sony loss, is a Kojima win. (and a Xbox win too).

Not defending Sony, but if both Death Stranding 1 and 2 didn't "perform as expected" and you see delays on the third game, finances get worrisome. I agree is a loss for sony and no Kojima game would be also a loss, but eh, sony choice if they're counting pennies.
