Over 140 immigrants detained in Tacoma’s Northwest Detention Center on hunger strike to demand humane treatment
By Hannah Saunders Beginning on August 12, over 140 immigrants who are being detained at Tacoma's Northwest Detention Center (NWDC) have gone on a hunger strike to demand humane treatment, including healthy food with protein and medical attention for sick people, particularly those with diabetes. Many people with diabetes rely on the hormone, insulin, and Type 1 Diabetics can die within 24-72 hours without insulin.

🚨BOLO for Mickey Rowe🚨 He was heavily involved in Seattle's leftist activism spaces but got ejected in June after over a handful of victims came forward about rape, SA, and boundary crossing. TtS has confirmed these allegations and spoken with victims. He is currently located in Burien.
