GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Every day feels like a kick in the teeth but cat gets scritches, I took my walk, kiddo's friend came over, grandparents took the kids, spouse and I bought records and walked to a great Mexican restaurant for fajitas and tequila shots, and there was a massive and bright rainbow 🌈 life continues 020
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I have been lifting weights for to make the muscle and the bone. Those added significant weight to my body. KNOWING it's fine is one thing but still the number feels difficult. 020
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 17/09/2026It's such a cluster... Kamui is blindly focused on bringing his own idea of Fuuma back. Fuuma is doing what Kamui can't/needs him to do and there IS no old Fuuma to bring back. Kamui is maybe the perfect DoH who priorities the wrong things/their own reality Fuuma is right the tragic future is set 210
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 17/09/2026As it is, Kamui is doomed to save humanity and Fuuma is going to destroy civilization But if humanity survives, the Earth will be consumed anyway 😞 120
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Was the Good Choice for Kamui "f all y'all, the system needs a reset" instead of selfish altruism that misses the mark? meaning Fuuma fills the opposite role to save humanity but for real, not fixated on one person, he would have a shot (and maybe could make a kekkai even) 410
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 17/09/2026apparently Kamui could have/should have made a different choice based on his "true" wish and become the DoE Kamui maybe? not choosing for Fuuma and Kotori but for his own? 110
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 17/09/2026As far as I can make out thematically this is the Bad Choice! because Kamui wants to do something FOR the ones he cares about, to a point of exclusion, without considering their feelings first causing all kinds of tragedy for them in the process 130
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Kamui fresh off of dealing with his mother's death in a fire meets his aunt who seems to die in a fire before expositing anything but no! She lives! Then explodes in the Monou living room! (two nickels!) and after death consoles him not to be sad that this was fate & she can't exposit actually 010
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Speed reading X to refresh myself on the story, and it's a wild blend of fierce personalities, dramatic delivery, comic relief, and horror 120
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 16/09/2026This one ate my kumihimo project and is very shamelessly trying to get scritches 220
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 14/09/2026I think most people have a near miss, someone who had many traits and aspects of their person but wasn't quite it His being modeled on the first draft of Fuuma makes this just so poignant 😭🌻 120

GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 12/09/2026A Tubi suggestion, but I can never turn down a Cary Grant romcom 020
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Talk of the Town, in which the power of Cary Grant's shameless flirting gets him both a quirky girl and an uptight law prof boyfriend to see the light about a corrupt court If they aren't poly this film makes no sense / 10 120

GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 02/08/2026And truly all the family homes nowadays I visit are shoes off at the door 000
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 02/08/2026The "no shoes means you're poor" thing in the US at least was iirc a stereotype against us southerners who suffered hookworm, so there was a health campaign to get folks wearing shoes that was resisted until it unfortunately leaned heavy on classism and racism 100
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Most recently the message was "when news makes you feel down, try US news! it's more lively and optimistic because of western individualistic views, so getting news in English will cheer you up" O_o I would rather eat glass thank you 000
GrayMM @graymm.bsky.social · 02/08/2026"in the US visitors to your house will help themselves to stuff from your fridge, here's why" "US birthday customs are about the celebrant showing gratitude to their friends, so don't give them presents or a surprise party" "shoes inside is a western norm because it shows wealth" 200
