Anyway I have a font of my own handwriting. I used to letter May Contain Multitudes by hand, but that's kinda difficult because I'm very bad at writing by hand. It was a lot of effort to make it readable. So I ended up making my own font. It's not beautiful, but it's not supposed to be.

I just opened my game project and I have no idea what's going on but two scenes are claiming the other don't exist. They both exist in the location they're supposed to, and the game runs like normal, but I can't open the scenes in the editor. ("Fix Dependencies" doesn't seem to do anything) #godot

after all the time I spent making the script for climbing stairs work properly, I realized I could just give the player character 4-directional movement when outside the train.

added some more visual feedback. Now if there is a track you can jump to, a target will show up at the destination. And if you try to jump when there isn't a another track nearby, the train does a little attempt jump so the player knows the input was registered correctly #gamedev #indiedev
