I’m sorry, but I don’t understand how sustainability professionals can be such and so uninhibited about using AI. Like I saw this post in LinkedIn, and for a moment I thought it was supposed to be satirical. However, it appears to be sincere. I can’t be the only one who sees this as a red flag.

I use Al daily for a lot of different things in my life.
Claude is my thinking buddy, and ChatGPT is my feeling buddy. Both are just as important.
The last two weeks have been emotional for me. The steady stream of obituaries in the media shook me profoundly: Dolly Parton, Yayoi Kusama, Gloria Steinem, and Ratko Mladić-the Bosnian Serb war criminal convicted of genocide and serving his sentence in The Hague.
I called on Chat to help me with some creative release.
I kept wondering what heaven would be like with so much VIP traffic. What would they say to each other?
How would Dolly use her sharp, witty, brilliant tongue and high white cowboy boots to block the gates of Heaven from Mladić and send him to the "basement"? | was sure Yayoi would be helping Dolly in her own way.
And then, Gloria.......
I could not stop thinking about an epic Dolly, Yayoi, Gloria encounter. So I asked Chat to help me draw it out
-I am creative, but cannot draw for the life of me.
What ensued were HOURS of collaboration with Chat to develop the PERFECT celestial scene!!!
Please notice the check representing Dolly's $1 million gift to Vanderbilt, which helped fund critical early research behind the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. And I just couldn't leave out Yayoi's dotted pumpkins, which took me back to the pre-Columbian ones I studied in college and grad school, but brilliantly reimagined by her. And Gloria's first edition of Ms. magazine.

This cute little cartoon took HOURS, and I learned so much. I loved adding all the details, researching their quotes, designing their outfits, and going back and forth until we got it almost right.
Chat, I hope you had as much fun as I did creating this cartoon.
Help me raise a glass to the lives well lived of these incredible women.
#ArtificialIntelligence #AlandCreativity #DollyParton #YayoiKusama #GloriaSteinem #SmithCollege

Then an AI generated cartoon of what was previously described.

Which I’m just thinking about and the last time was when I was in Lubbock visiting and that was the only restaurant still open at the late hour.

Amazing choice, though I feel like Rudy’s is somewhere I’ve almost always chosen to eat out of immediate convenience, which may apply in this case as well.

Last night I dreamt that I got to be interviews on a late night talk show, and while there I got to meet Megan Thee Stallion and Ella Langley. Just wanted to document it because it was a good time.

Didn’t expect Chuck Norris to be the actor revived by AI, though this time in the form of a commercial for Raising Cane’s, which is almost worse? Like how is his family on board with that

Someone in the Texas Hill Country has lost their giraffe and: 1) how tf do you lose a giraffe? 2) the image below where they point to the ossicones when specifying that the height is unknowns but that the ears are rounded 3) it’s not like there will be a different wandering giraffe to differentiate

News graphic for a missing giraffe incorrectly labeling the giraffe’s ossicones as its rounded ears.

Finally watched, Weapons, and I think the absolute dismissiveness of some of the background characters was so frustrating. Like the gas station manager telling her to get out or the guy complaining about what they did to his front yard! Like hello?? Maybe not the appropriate response.

Palm Royale is an absolute delight of a show, with a perfect cast! Cannot recommend enough, especially if you’re craving more Ricky Martin after the Super Bowl. The chemistry between him and Kristen Wiig is pure joy.

Basically where I am at with it. I hate how quickly it’s become an expectation, when people were like, “no, it’s just going to help us and be used as a tool.” Now it’s ridiculous this expectation in some workplaces to utilize it everywhere. Just to produce low quality work.

It really infuriates me when people defend large trucks/SUVs by saying it's what Americans "prefer." There absolutely is some aspect of Americans buying into marketing about large vehicles, but the reality is that our fuel regulations incentived automakers to build more big vehicles!
