I did something similar: put an abstract into Copilot and said that it was in BrE and I wanted it revised for a US journal. Then started a new conversation and told it the opposite. Both times it suggested exactly the same changes, telling me the end result was more aligned with either AmE or BrE.

Interesting how the first image also looks like the ChatGPT logo. Probably unintentional but it's a nice metaphor for the benefits of working through ideas in written form yourself in academic/educational contexts rather than using GenAI …
