25 March 1943 | A transport of 1,901 Greek Jews deported by the Germans from the ghetto in Thessaloniki arrived at the #Auschwitz camp. During the arrival selection, SS doctors sent 1,206 people to be murdered in gas chambers. The remaining 459 men & 236 women were registered in the camp.
