More fun and/or games with LightRoom Classic. For no obvious reason, it just dropps out; no error messages, just stops. Reorganising the catalogue didn't work, so I'm trying the same fix that worked when the catalogue was corrupted a while ago: opening a new catalogue and importing from the old one.

It's a little disconcerting how bits of technology that were once taken for granted, everyday items are quietly "disappeared". Floppy disc drives, then CD/DVD rewriters in PCs. Cars no longer have CD players, which is annoying. I bought a JVC hi-fi system last week. No headphone socket. Really???
