Mixed feelings of loving Mozilla for implementing a quick toggle on and off for AI on Firefox, but also hating that they've put AI on the browser in the first place.

The result was amazing! Even though we didn't have much time, people would find themselves reflecting about what they think is more important, what is the connection between these ideas, and - most beautifully - they would build on each other's work!
A drawing of tree branches with some text on each branch. We can read "science culture" and "accessible education".

So I proposed a booth where I would invite people to collective draw an Open Scholarship Garden. They would pick a concept, idea or practice from a pile on the table, think about how this could be represented as a garden element, and how it would contribute to or harm our Open Scholarship garden.
Pieces of white paper with words printed out. The words relate to open scholarship practices, such as "archive code", "use inclusive language in any documentation", "use open lab notebooks", etc.

Two weeks ago I was at the 1st Canadian #OpenScience and #OpenScholarship Conference, in Montreal. I usually hate conferences, but I'm super happy I went to this one! What convinced me was that they had a booth format that reminded me a lot my #MozFest days! 🧪
A colourful spinning wheel on a white table, where we can also see a sign, some sharpies organized in cups, a few pieces of paper with keywords written on them, garden-themed stickers and chocolate bars.
