I know I keep banging on about it but fuck me the dishwasher is good. We keep taking things out of it and swearing because it's a whole new level of clean! Our old chopping board is several shades lighter all of a sudden! All my mugs look new!

Ursa has been to the vet again and gotten some more anti-nausea meds and some special bikkits. If this doesn't settle her, we'll do bloods n stuff next. Fingers crossed she doesn't need it though! So far so good 🤞

Goblin child got her award at school this morning, for creativity! Apparently (Among other things) she wrote a lovely descriptive story about Sharks in tuxedos, going to a disco. She's a good little weirdo, my kid ❤️

Ursa hasn't eaten in 24hrs, which may be contributing to the pukey puke... so I got her some lickylicks and fancy mousse meat to tempt her. By the way she wolfed it down, I'm guessing it was a hit! And bonus: no barf! Keeping everything crossed that she's just stuck herself in an Ick loop 🤞

I yanked my shoulder so spectacularly last night that it made me throw up. That was fun. (My shoulder has been fucked for months. Pretty sure it's frozen shoulder. My mum isn't convinced; She thinks I've buggered the rotator cuff ligaments. Could be either I suppose. Either way, OUCH.)

Ursa is fine btw. She's lost a bit of weight but the vet didn't find anything concerning. She's probs just eaten something weird. She has pills and yummy paste to help settle it all down. I'm very grateful it wasn't a £500 shit, but also I could have done without the extra vet bill tbh. Ahh well.

Well. We thought we had found a connection where a dishwasher would go. We hadn't. We then thought attaching said connector could be a DIY job. It apparently isn't. So I have a dishwasher but can't use it, and probably have to pay a plumber after I just paid £80 at the vets. Ughhhhh.

The zoo was also a disaster. I mean, not totally? We went round the gruffallo bit, and a corn maze, and then we saw butterflies and a very fancy pigeon... aaaaaand then our ride got sick and we had to come home. We're going to try again at some nebulous point in the future.

Piss. Turns out my bargain fabric acquisition was a bit of a disaster. I washed it all overnight and got it out this morning only to find it in several pieces, all with multiple large holes in em. It's like it just disintegrated. 😩😩😩 (Yes i checked the washing label beforehand.)
