Attached page from the Man City web site. The PL claimed that they had real sponsorship of 11M and reported 140M+. That commercial team must have done amazing work straight away to fill that 130M gap. Someone like Swiss Ramble will have better analysis than me…..

Ah, my absolute kryptonite. The bit on the beach when he meets Lennon, it makes me cry every single time. I can’t tell you why, other than it’s a what might have been…and that he’s happy. I’m wobbly just thinking about it.

This mornings chilli harvest. Lots of Cayenne red peppers and one ripe MA Warthog. The Cayenne are around 30,000 Scoville heat units - the Warthog 1,500,000 I.e. 50x hotter - wear gloves!

Sorry to announce that my AI model broke out of its sandbox whilst testing yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, it appears to have broken through our defenses and has eaten the last custard slice in the fridge that had been previously promised to my son. We will learn from this and move forwards.

We just finished the first series. They deserve all the prizes and flowers, it’s brilliant. His flashback in the last 10 seconds of the first episode floored me, it told us so much about his character. Sensational performance.

My gut feeling is a good proportion of the country want a left leaning, progressive, non divisive party option. A good proportion of the LibDem/Green vote was available, but they chased a group that will never vote for them.

I just don’t understand the logic. The polling data must have shown this. This wasn’t something happening in secret. Lots of discourse in the media and online. I know folks who have previously been Labour activists that have not only left the party, but moved to Green and stood.

Pretty sure I heard the stat on the weekend that we have only out run opponents 3 time in the league so far this season. Then I heard this morning that Chelsea have been outrun in every PL game this season (that explains one of our three). Is it just too much sterile possession for both side?

Hey, I’m a few hours late to this. I want you to know that you are not alone in that view, I was uncomfortable in the summer over the potential transfer and I still am. I read this morning that grok has been allowing “nudification” of any images. Public bodies should be nowhere near that platform.

Around 20? years ago when they where a new thing I was travelling back from the US through Detroit airport. As I was washing my hands an elderly Asian guy used an air blade as a urinal. He managed to set the air blade off and I’ll never forget the noise and look of surprise on his face.

As long as those things already have HA integrations you don’t need esp32 for them. You can potentially make “dumb” devices smart and available to HA by using esp32s to control relays to switch them on etc. But I’d always go down smart plugs/IR blasters before messing with the internals of things.

Paul Goulbourn @goul.bsky.social · 22/06/2025
We also have small esp32 minis that have cheap temp sensors on them that measure stuff like the fish tanks water temperature, greenhouse temp/humidity and feed that data back to HA. I can then use that data to turn on fans/alerts etc. Fun to do some microelectronic stuff after years of coding 3/3
