another csp tip: dont cross lines of reference layer. which is ver gud. assign line art as reference layer, switch to another layer, enable dont cross lines of ref layer, bam. if it isn't showing as a tool option, tap/click the wrench in tool settings window and go to anti-overflow, its in there.

it is finally time ☝️ to get into silent hill 15 years i've spent playing horror games. making silent hill jokes about my hometown. with each passing year, the fact that i've neither played nor watched anyone play any of these games has become more and more ridiculous. no more. the bit ends today.

i dug through that re2 footage i accidentally recorded the other day and can now prove this during the session i got a call from a friend which also ended up in the recording. it also ended up being a prime example of what i was talking about in this post i really, really dislike RE dogs >:(

i spent a few hours on the phone talking about Don Quixote with a friend the other day and last night i dreamt that i was a squire to a very young and enthusiastic knight. the dream was cute, but i do find it fascinating that my subconscious would cast me as Sancho in that context

caught my own shadow while walking around last night. why does it look like it's about to scream at me that the Auditore are not dead

Update 3: It is done. The message has been delivered. This is the most useless endeavour I have ever undertaken, yet I am so proud. I sowed this seed a year ago, an idea planted like Inception, and today I get to reap the benefits* *resi jokes with yet another friend

so! apparently my PC speaker has a built-in mic that i didn't know about. i just accidentally recorded two hours of resi2 + audio and i'm losing it at this one clip of the 1st birkin fight, where i'm dead silent the whole time except halfway through you hear "ₐaAaₐaAaₐ" because i got stuck in a wall

Once again I am asking why this happens to indie games and not big blockbusters where you can fuck the bear or go to strip clubs. And once again I know the answer

its important to reject Harry Potter because it's fueling transphobic bullshit, but it also just feels important as part of a larger rejection of this top-down campaign of mental and emotional infantilization that all of us are being subjected to these days

there is a weird equivalence to a world that asks me as a thirty-something to get invested in the boy wizard franchise from a quarter of a century ago, and a world that assumes I need AI to summarize every pdf I download. it is a world that presumes we're all very helpless and stupid and sad

you know what this is? because i know what this is, i lived it. an investor couldn't find the wolf, and some bosses panicked and asked to add as many indicator humanly possible and the team delivered reluctantly. at no point this was coming for playtesting with actual people who play games.

breaking benjamin clip thread because this concert was so damn cool i only recorded a few modest 20-second clips because i'll be damned if i spend the whole concert holding my phone and blocking the view. still, had to capture a few moments. for example, them starting off with I Will Not Bow:

Apparently, Breaking Benjamin's singer is a Fallout and Skyrim modder. It appears someone was mean to him about one of his mods on Nexus, so now he's posting his handle with the name of the mod at every live gig asking people to go download it out of pettiness. We're back in the right timeline.

Our society's unfathomable cruelty to homeless people is not just morally unjustifiable, but more expensive than housing people would be. Cruelty against the homeless is an unaffordable luxury. Abandoning homeless people to avoid offending the Protestant work ethic is an unaffordable luxury.

i respect this man a lot but watching him play RE games is actually painful. going through his requiem playthrough—he stored and forgot the requiem (IT'S THE NAME OF THE GAME???), didn't realize the 12.7x55mm were for that, missed the coin machine, refused to use the hemolytic injectors...aaaAAAAAA
