SOTD: Brutal by Demolished Studio, which is anything but its name, a flash of verdant citrus what’s quickly enveloped in a pastel jelly of iris and amber. It’s bright, refracting sun beams through a hazy gelatin of kumquat and bergamot. Beautiful, sedate, soft, and fresh. It just works. #perfumesky

My last March acquisition was the limited release from Clue: Like Mesh. What a stunning presentation of Neroli. A milky veil of stemmy, almost masculine florals. Sheer, easy to wear but highly interesting, really amazing, on par with the rest of Clue’s offerings! #perfumeksy

After some work meetings, I got the chance to drop by Xinu perfumes in Mexico City. The experience of the store was unreal, with raw materials positioned in vignettes to explore what makes the fragrance you’re testing. Flight SOTD: Pipe Bomb Intense by Blackbird. It’s like lightning striking an ocean made of liquid metallic oud. Somehow so soft and ethereal but persistent thanks to a dose of ISO-E with some amber and smoke. I prefer the regular Pipe Bomb formula but it’s clogged with salt crystals? #perfumesky
