Expect the Stamps to be close to the last to get their cuts in, if the past is any indication

Amazing for him!! Happier now Stamps didn't draft him. If only because they have greater immediate needs.

VA is really easy to love as a starting QB. Feat on IG, the day after the draft he's in MTL working out with the top draft pick.

screenshot from Vernon Adams Instagram of him and Damien Alford, The Stamps top draft pick from a day ago.

CFL draft is a bit of a shitshow. Even trying to follow in Twitter, like I just need number, team, player name position and school. The tracker being broken is a joke.

Rourke is off the board (Sask) way too high if you ask me, but the upside is definitely there however slight

Go Stamps Go Show @gostampsgoshow.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

Pick 8: Christopher Fortin, O-line from UConn, backup as guard and center. They need Cdn O-line, esp C

Dear TSN, Rysen John is not a key departure

010

Go Stamps Go Show @gostampsgoshow.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

Ok, so Cdn draft starts at 4pm local, I might catch first overall before pickup, but likely won't be commenting until after babies go to bed.

And the Global Draft is over, 8 punters from Australia, 1 from NZ, 2 kickers from Ireland. 11 p/k in a 9 team league

000

Go Stamps Go Show @gostampsgoshow.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

With their 2nd pick, Stamps choose Mark Vassett, another Aussie punter from Colorado

Bombers traded up to 2nd over all, swapping with Hamilton to 8th, also swapping 39 from 36 in the Cdn draft later this evening

Go Stamps Go Show @gostampsgoshow.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

and the Stamps pick Fraser Masin, punter from ole Miss

000

Go Stamps Go Show @gostampsgoshow.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

a little over an hr until the global draft, I'll try to keep it updated as it happens (for the Stamps) with a final Aussie punter # at the end

010

Go Stamps Go Show @gostampsgoshow.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

wake me when the global draft starts

010

Go Stamps Go Show @gostampsgoshow.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

Draft tomorrow, I expect Stamps to take a punter first in the global and I'm leaning towards a C for the cdn draft later in the day. Like to see wr at 8, dl next and if he's still available Elgermsa at 20. Mini camps are especially rough on QBs, as there's so little time to learn a playbook.

As the NFL draft winds down, time to pay attention CFL fans. We'll soon see who is given UDFA contracts and even more importantly signing $$. I would really like to see the Stamps avoid those guys this year in the drafy. Just feels like they need immediate players.

this pushes it over the top for me. “Belichick is really into his 50-years-younger GF” could only go so far. Happened before and will happen again. but “Younger GF writes memo about optics of laundering nepo coaching hires” makes this the funniest college football story of all time for me

He could never back down on a promise. Take Genius for example. Stats were always coming right around the corner, within the next month. Instead of saying we don't know when they'll be fully functional (I don't think they are even yet) but to lie and promise is exhausting to anyone listening

maybe controversial take: I don't think expansion should be very high on the priority list for a new commish. It's better to strengthen existing teams' fanbases.

If his idea of a superstar is someone who transcends the sport, he's right. But that's not in the talent, that's in a lack of marketing and effort to highlight the talent from both team level and league wide. 3downnation.com/2025/03/23/e...
