I believe a big part of the rise of women's sports in recent years is it continuing to make good decisions while men's sports make bad ones motivated by maximizing profit. It's generally a much more accessible sport, financially and logistically. Add this to the pile.

I'm kind of blown away the Titans pull more than Atletico. I do think that the CPL kind of screwed over Sakura in the city though. Atletico is still trying to reach the heights the Fury did.

Maybe a hot boomer take, but I really miss pre salary cap hockey. I feel like it was more about the product on the ice than money. Players were evaluated on their contributions, not their contracts The cap going up doesn't benefit me as a fan at all. But the goal has led to ads and higher prices

Winnipeg - surprisingly cheap food and drink. $6 mixed drinks at the biggest bar is insane. $30 high end entrees is hard to believe in 2026. But not much else. It seems like a city that started a slow death in the 30s. I feel like Kingston's core is more interesting.
