A fun fact about Half-Life: Opposing Force that I've never seen mentioned before, in the crashsite map in the intro, there's a door that isn't present in the version of the map you revisit after leaving the infirmary! This is likely how Adrian was pulled to safety by the medic.

The intro version of the map, featuring the aforementioned interdimensional door.

The same level post-intro, with no door to be found.
