Good morning. The birch leaves started falling yesterday adding yellow to the forest floor blanket. Puppy at the end for a bonus.

Looks like a path to me...I also might be on the brink of becoming an obsessed old guy building a tower using creek rocks in a forest. Maybe I got to close to the purple nightshade. :)

Dogs,rainbows,and wood a Maine tale. :) The town dog become a forest dog. It is a gorgeous night in my part of Maine.

A woodstove in a log cabin has a small fire. A pack basket for ice fishing hangs on the wall, grandfather clock,fly fishing vest, and small wood stack.

Meanwhile....Gracie is not amused the puppy keeps invading her space. I stacked wood after playing with the pup. Gracie came out of the loft angrily and demanded to be let outside in the rain. Hahaha (Mirador is playing in the background, I don't want ti break any laws.)

Lots of color in the woods today. It has been raining off and on since last night from the Nor'easter and the puppy needed a walk.

Something growled in the woods when I took the puppy to pee. Whatever it was didn't sound friendly and she ran fast to the cabin. She's looking at me like she will not be going outside again. Haha I've seen two fisher cats this week and wonder if that's what is out there.

My daughter messed up her knee and is in a immobilizer. This is her puppy Lizzy who will be staying at the cabin with me until the knee is better. Where the shepherd is a town dog and doesn't like woods,Lizzy is a rambunctious terror who loves woods and water. Gracie does not like her new roommate.
