Incredibly upset I didn't have anyone with Warp (or Dietrich lol) when I got to it. I'm replaying the Act 1 routes now for the bonus EXP going into Act 2, maybe Theodora Round 2 will be the route where I force-feed Mu like 100 White Magic training manuals so I can cheese it.

It's literally 99/100 points, but if leaked figures are legit I think the availability of the full playset of Neptabyss and Dragoons will be enough to really make me start playing Genesys. ...I might drop down to 2 Dragoons to free up 13 points.

If you have NSO, turn off automatic back-up for the save file in your switch system settings and trigger manual back-ups and downloads. This functionally gives you a second save slot to work with. Useful for prodding at RNG advancement and catching yourself mid-chapter with any needed adjustments.

Anyways, keeping in mind this is partial progress into Fortune's Weave, 120 hrs in here's my ranking of the Switch era FE games so far: Story: FW > 3H >> Engage "Overworld" Gameplay: FW > Engage > 3H Combat Gameplay: Engage > FW > 3H Cast: 3H > FW >> Engage (I love them all, still need more.)

I'm enjoying myself, though. Thankful to have had ample time to play recently (stuck at home most days, long story for another day). My current plan is to finish Theodora's route, replay Cai's and Leda's routes with better planned unit recruiting and raising for Part 2 merges, and go from there.

No specific spoilers, but many characters have a nonsensical lack of supports and paired endings, at least compared to Three Houses. Characters with connections only in their timelines having NO unique dialogue with each other. There's a bigger cast, but that just makes gaps that much more obvious.

I'm "only" 120 hours into Fortune's Weave, at Chapter 8 of Theodora's route (last of the four in Part 1, my order Leda > Cai > Dietrich > Theodora). The one thing that stands out to me most is how much content feels clearly cut or missing from this game. I love it, but surely there's DLC to come.

Starting Cai's route second right after Leda's has quickly become an emotional roller coaster of confusion, questions, and me pointing at the screen asking what the fuck is going on. Context from Leda's route is crazy for these early interactions!

Also playing FEFW, one route at a time. Despite trailers & promo material, nothing in-game past the initial tutorial prompts pushes you to bounce between them before finishing a full route. WAY more efficient with experience points and such to commit to a path, finish, then start the next one.

On Ch. 4 of Leda's route (first route I've picked) in Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave. So far, my strongest impression is that the sheer amount of representation of different peoples is entirely refreshing. On the RPG front (incl. Pokémon, Xenoblade 3) Nintendo has made clear strides with that recently.
