The first half of the Krakens for #dreadball all stars. As mentioned, a comisson for @manticgames. This game is due to ship early 27, I believe, but keep your eyes peeled for updates from my desk. #mantic #kickstarter #dreadballallstars #miniaturepainting #comission

So, Mantic have commissioned me to paint the models from their Dreadball all stars Kickstarter. The campaign is over now, and production is in full swing. Here is the first of the minis, from the Krakens team. Very cartoony, very good fun! #mantic #nerdlings #dreadball

Pithy Reflections from a long in tooth hobbyist: Can we call them models any more, or do we have to refer to them as a 'Piece'?

I have quite the commissions on right now. I'm becoming quite aware my online presence revolves solely around the toy soldiers I paint, and that's ok. But it's all under NDA, so nothing to report. I guess sit tight?

Its clash of kings this weekend, the biggest kings of war tournament in the world. Sadly, the algorthim crushes the news about it. But its going to be a great weekend! How many other game systems boast 160 player events?! Spread the word! Play kings of war! #nerdlings #kingsofwar

My modeling output is a little sporadic at the moment. Little bits had bobs on the desk with nothing really to commit to. That said, I've been giving the old resin pour a go for my latest kings of war display board. #nerdlings #kingsofwar #wargaming

My foray into Armoured Clash continues with these two Empire Artillery pieces. It's so refreshing to see some unique designs, and a company with a solid IP of their own. #armouredclash @warcradlestudios.bsky.social #nerdlings

Back in June at the Uk games expo, I picked up a couple of starter sets for interesting looking games. One of which is armoured clash from @warcradlestudios.bsky.social. I've finally manged to get some on the painting desk. Super weeny, and quick to paint! #nerdlings

It's still a bit of a grubby old bastard, but I think I'm managing to breathe a bit of life back in to it. I think a lick of paint will be the key to this one looking something like. #warhammercommunity #nerdlings #warhammer

The restoration work on Rhino number one has begun. Smell that '88 cream plastic! Problem is, if my early nineties warhammer modelling detective skills are on point, it's been glued with old Humbrol poly cement, causing quite a bit of deep bubbling in thin plastic. Watch this space...
