I'm honestly really happy with how it looks. I stand 5'11" so I'm guessing that the column is about eight feet tall! It tickles me to death with how cool it looks in the window with the sun shining through, and at night from outside.

So after that I made an attempt at building a full size balloon column. I have to say, I'm pleased with how it turned out. Thirty six 12" balloons and one 36" balloon on top. No helium used, no balloon stand. Free standing with just a weight. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Fyy...

So, in addition to trying out balloon twisting, I'm also experimenting with balloon decor. My first attempt was a short column that turned out pretty nice. It's twelve 12" balloons with a 24" balloon topper.

Next was a couple of variations of the dog, including one using two balloons, and one using a 360 balloon (which is wider than the traditional twisting balloon). That dog is on the chonky side, while the one with two balloons is definitely longer.

Went to apply for a video editing job that looked like it could be right up my alley. And in the questionnaire portion, it asked "We regularly work with Republican groups and conservative themes. Are you comfortable working with this" I don't think I've ever backed out of an application that fast.
