Today's balloons are a couple attempts at a flower. The first turned out, but I don't like the extra long stem. The second one I'm very happy with! I think it turned out beautifully for just two balloons!

So, in addition to trying out balloon twisting, I'm also experimenting with balloon decor. My first attempt was a short column that turned out pretty nice. It's twelve 12" balloons with a 24" balloon topper.

Went to apply for a video editing job that looked like it could be right up my alley. And in the questionnaire portion, it asked "We regularly work with Republican groups and conservative themes. Are you comfortable working with this" I don't think I've ever backed out of an application that fast.

My nephew is an amazing kid. Despite his health difficulties, he is genuine joy to be with. My sister and their family are currently trying to raise money for a mobility van so his transport gets easier and allows him to see the world like any other child. gofund.me/8d8f4d7f7

Finally watched the TADC finale this morning (I'm so glad I was able to avoid spoilers). It cemented itself as one of the best shows I've seen in ages. My thoughts and feelings on the final episodes are...complicated. It definitely tore at my heartstrings more than I expected.

At least when we went to war with Iraq and Afghanistan, I understood the reasons (don't agree with them, but at least I understood why those in power made that decision). In the case of Iran, I honestly don't have a fucking clue except for the fact that US hawks have wanted this for decades.
