I played the Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo on Steam! Love it! Gorgeous visuals, Rose Belmont moves with such smooth, responsive grace, and music drips with atmosphere. My only issue is that the game feels a little too zoomed out. Otherwise, it's very promising! Can’t wait for the full release.

I don't know how people eat McDonald's. Someone ordered it at work earlier, and I grabbed a Big Mac. It took one bite for me to feel completely grossed out. Just one bite. I put the burger straight back down and went to make some tea because my appetite was completely gone. Absolutely disgusted!😣

The current state of Western AAA development is a complete mess. I mostly play Asian and indie games, both retro and modern, so it doesn't affect me much personally. But seeing hundreds laid off and entire studios shut down still really sucks.

I finished Onimusha: Way of the Sword and loved every minute of it. Gorgeous game, fantastic combat, and Issen became super satisfying once I got better at it. Amazing characters too, especially Takamura. Very few games made me emotional when the credits roll, but Onimusha did it. What a game.

It drives me insane when people compare Onimusha to Sekiro or Nioh, considering that it predates them and many other similar games. Onimusha existed long before Soulslikes and doesn’t follow their mechanics or formula. It has its own combat, atmosphere, and identity. Onimusha walked its own path.

As someone who streams gaming on Twitch, I can feel it. Older audiences seem to be sticking with Twitch, while younger ones are moving to Kick, and Reacts/Just Chatting seem to get more engagement. Pure gaming may be declining, and people want to connect with the person, which is understandable.

Few games make the world disappear like Ys does for me. Happiness and a sense of adventure unlike anything else. Every Ys game feels magical in its own way. Whether it's the music or adventure, they always feel like coming home. I only hope @falcom.co.jp never lets this beautiful series fade away.

"Getting out of the house helped my depression" is a valid personal experience. "It's the only cure" isn't. Depression is a complex illness, and what helps one person may do little for another. Encouragement is great. Oversimplifying mental health isn't. There's no one-size-fits-all cure.

Many people have that one game most people consider "bad" but they'll always love anyway. For me, that game is Vampire Hunter D on the PS1. It'll always have a special place in my heart. It also doesn't help that I've been a massive Vampire Hunter D fanboy since I was younger.

The Adventures of Elliot is one of the prettiest 2D games I've played in recent years. Gorgeous visuals, fun combat, great voice acting (not the vocal companion), and a unique Magicite system outweigh the repetitive dungeon layouts, reused enemies, and a forgettable soundtrack. I still recommend it

Sony abandoning physical games means not just losing discs. We lose game preservation and the used market. It may make business sense, but it's a step backward for consumers. Despite the push toward digital, physical game sales are still far from insignificant, and they know, too. This sucks.

After spending some time with open-back headphones, I finally get the hype. The DT-990 and Fidelio X2HR have a wide soundstage, great comfort, punchy bass, and keep my ears cool. As much as I loved the Audeze Maxwell's incredible sound, I don't think I'll be going back to closed-back headphones.

There comes a point as a PC enthusiast where you stop wanting more software and start wanting less. No multiple launchers, RGB apps, monitoring tools, and endless background processes. Just press the power button and have everything work. The best setup is often the one that gets out of your way.
